Moslems Call Their Book The "Koran", Which Means "Readings"
Prophet Muhammad was commanded in a sleep or trance by an Angel of God (Gabriel) to read. He did not know how to read so he answered, I cannot read. The voice again said, Read! He repeated, I cannot read. For the third time, the voice demanded, Read! He then asked, What can I read?
So, the revelations from the Akashic Records started to be revealed to him. In fact, he never read anything but the voice of Gabriel revealed it to him from these records.
***
The Akashic Records refer to the Book of Remembrance or the Source of Decrees. They are the cosmic records of creation and history and the memory of the Universal Mind. Any action or event that occurs in the universe creates a record of that event in the Universal Mind as these records. They are the truest source of the realities behind this universe, and whatever had happened from the beginning of creation until now is kept there.

When Prophet Muhammad was demanded by Gabriel to Read! it did not mean to read from a paper or regular writings, but it meant to read from these Akashic Records. Koran means Readings.
Also, there was a Prophet born in America by the name of Edgar Cayce who would go to sleep (in a kind of trance) and would reveal valuable information from these Akashic Records. His works also are known as Readings. It is no accident that the answers from Prophet Cayce in sleep, and the revelations to Prophet Muhammad in a trance both are called readings. This again has been done to make man believe and have faith in these revelations.
***
Prophet Muhammad could not read or write even after he was chosen as a Prophet. What he read were the revelations given to him from the Universal Mind.
***
He was an illiterate man. How did he know the things given in the Koran? We can see that when the Spirit of God is with you, you do not have to read a lot of books to recognize the subtleness of the creation and God.
Actually, he was a very intelligent man. Intelligence does not mean education. Education and intelligence are two completely different things.

The basic teaching of Islam consists of several points: There is only one God (Tohied). He is the absolute power. He is just, merciful, and beneficent. There will be a last day of judgment (Moaad), which is the resurrection from the dead (ignorance) to life (spiritual knowledge). There should be acceptance of the Prophets sent by God (Nabovat).
Also, the Koran teaches that all things in the universe belong to God, and humans should only surrender and submit themselves to Him. In fact, Islam means to be surrendered and submissive to the Lord, and it is this which is the most important message of this religion and the very theme of the Koran.
***
In the Koran, heaven is the place where man meets the Creator (God). According to the Law of the universe same sees same, it means that only those who reach the same consciousness as the Lord can see Him. God is in Pure Consciousness and pure, so when man also reaches Pure Consciousness or is pure in heart, he will meet his God (Divine Father) face-to-face. So, heaven and Pure Consciousness are the same.
Also, heaven is described as a place of rest. When a unit consciousness reaches Pure Consciousness, he masters all the powers of the universe so he does not have to struggle in using them. He is their master (by His permission).
Therefore, we can see that in the Koran, heaven was described in symbolic language suited to the level of consciousness of the people at that time. Actually, it is describing the same thing as what we call Pure Consciousness. Indeed, all the Scriptures should be read with a consideration of the time, place, and people involved. This allows for maximum benefit and an understanding of the symbolic language and also the consequence of the revelations.

So, in studying the Koran and Islam, we should always have in mind where its symbol is located in The Greatest Sign and the message behind the fourth seal. Only then will these teachings, the Koran itself, and Islam (Is-Lamb), make more sense in relation to the other signs and history.
***
In fact, the complete Scripture for humanity is one that covers the description of all the seven symbols in The Greatest Sign.
