Feast of Tabernacles Deadline and Lecture Info
Although the Feast of Tabernacles is not for several more months, if you are thinking of attending the Feast celebration in New Mexico in person, please remember that the cutoff date for early registration is July 1st. After this date, an additional 20% will be added to the attendance fee. Please email us at feast@maitreya.org if you are interested in coming.
Also, if you are thinking that you might like to give a lecture at this Feast, here is a reminder of the requirements:
To give a full lecture at the Feast (a full event slot - one and a half hours), you must attend the Feast in person in New Mexico. We feel it is important that full lectures be given in front of a live audience (as well as broadcast over the internet). The only exception to this rule is members of the Round Table, who may give full lectures over the internet even if they cannot make it to attend the Feast in person.
There is also the possibility of several people giving shorter, 15-30 minute lectures, one after the other, perhaps with some discussion in between, as a more interactive and fast-paced event. These lectures could be given by anyone, wherever they are, over the internet. However, if you would like to give one of these mini-lectures, you must submit your request to the Mission, and your lecture will then have to be approved by the Round Table. To give enough time for the approval process, we ask anyone who might want to do such a lecture to let us know by July 1st (the same date as the cutoff for early registration). Please send an email to feast@maitreya.org expressing your interest!
