Second GoToMeeting Webinar

Many of those who attended last month's MOM Members Meeting expressed a desire to learn more about the GoToMeeting program. Therefore, we will be holding another educational webinar to show off the more complex features of this excellent program and explain how to use it more thoroughly and effectively.

GoToMeeting is not just for simple audio meetings; in fact, that is only utilizing its most basic capabilities. Its other features, such as allowing users to see each other's computer screens, draw on them, take control of them, etc., have a wide range of possible uses. A few examples: Working on projects with others over the Internet; giving speeches or lectures online; troubleshooting problems on another user's computer; etc. All of this and more will be explained at the webinar.

The webinar will be held on Wednesday, July 14, at 7:30 PM MST. In other words, it will be held exactly one week earlier than this month's MOM Meeting (same time of day, but the second, not third, Wednesday of the month). We hope this will allow everyone who is able to come to the MOM Meeting to also attend the webinar.

Finally, for those of you that are still having trouble speaking and/or hearing in GoToMeeting, we have found an excellent Audio Setup page on the GoToMeeting website. The creators of the program are the best at explaining how to use it; therefore, please refer to this page to troubleshoot any remaining audio and microphone problems.
