Social Networking

This page lists the official groups, pages, etc. the Mission has on social networking sites. It does not include unofficial outreach by individual disciples.

If you are interested in spreading the Mission online on social networks, please contact our Social Networking project manager to see how you can help. If you want to spread the Mission to other social networks, but do not know where to start, you can find many possibilities on Wikipedia's list of social networks.

The social networks are listed alphabetically:

Groups:

  1. Learn more about the Mission of Maitreya!: This is our primary presence on Facebook. It is meant to be a place of education about the Mission, where people can come to ask questions and learn more. It is a good place to direct people who are sincerely interested in knowing more about the Mission.

However, please do not invite those who are not yet ready and still want to argue or push their own ideas. This will only disrupt the room and cause distractions for those who truly are there to learn.

  2. MOM Divine Brothers and MOM Divine Sisters: These groups are where Mission members and those interested in the Mission can gather as brothers or sisters and become closer, discuss the teachings, help each other with personal problems, etc. Maitreya teaches that men and women are very different, so the best way is for men to be helped by men, and women by women. In this way they can help each other to become strong and Godly men or women, each devoted to their own Dharmas (innate nature, what God has created them for)!

These groups have been opened only for those who are truly interested in the Mission, therefore anyone who wants to join these groups must first be part of the main Mission Facebook group "Learn more about the Mission of Maitreya!" (above). Then, if someone in the "Learn..." group has questions about personal matters, wants advice based on Maitreya's teachings about their own life, would like to discuss with Mission members of their own gender, etc., they can request to join one of these groups (Divine Brothers for men, Divine Sisters for women).
